"...Stagger into the Ladies at 7.15am only to find a naked Richard at the sink..." (from the East Anglia journal).

Phillip's Journals are part sketchbook and part diary. They record his adventures and travels both abroad and at home in England. These journals contain wonderful illustrations, evocative descriptions of the many places he has visited, and great stories. Whilst many of his adventures are very funny, other stories are poignant, such as his description of the New York ground zero clearance ceremony. Generally though, the tone is light and the text, together with his watercolour sketches, tell a tale of intrepid travel the world over.
